New Years Projects Goals - Part 2

Well, right after I posted the last blog I went into my sewing room and found a few more quilts waiting for me to finish them.  I hope this is it but wouldn't be surprised to see a few more turn up. So, here they are:

26. Basted and ready to quilt.

27.  Still need to stitch around the kitty appliques (not the real kitty looking things over).

28 and 29.  Tops complete; need quilting and binding.

30. Needs stitching around all the appliques, a border, quilting & binding.  COMPLETED AND DELIVERED TO MY NIECE, KAREN.

New Years Projects Goals

I refuse to say "New Years Resolutions" because I am just setting some goals that I will work toward during the year.  No pressure, no stress.  Okay, maybe a little stress, but I'm trying to minimize it a bit.

So here are the quilts/projects I have started - or am planning to start.  My goal is to complete at least 12 of these this year.  Some of the quilt tops may be taken apart and made into smaller quilts, totes or pillows.  Most will be left intact and made into quilts.  Some are very small (doll quilts. table toppers, wall hangings); some are a bit larger - bed-sized from twin to queen.  23 of the 25 quilts below were begun before 2016 (the quilt of the month with sewhooked.com) started January 1, 2016 and will continue for the full year.  Fandom in Stitches is having a X-files quilt-along called "I Want to Believe" which starts starts January 6, 2016.

1.  Top complete - needs quilting and binding.  COMPLETED AND DELIVERED TO MY NIECE, ROBIN.

2.  Top complete - needs quilting and binding.

3.  This will probably be the backing for another quilt.

4.  Top complete and Lilith approved.

5.  Top complete - needs quilting and binding.

         Also Lilith approved.

6. Top complete and ready for quilting.

7.  Top complete and ready for quilting.  Lilith approved.  COMPLETED AND READY TO DELIVER TO VANESSA.

8.  Top complete and ready for quilting. This one is for my son, Chris.

 9.  Top complete and ready for quilting.  COMPLETED AND DELIVERED TO MY NIECE, DIANNE.

10. Half of quilting done.  The binding and done!

11. Top complete and ready for quilting.  By the way, this is sideways.

12.  Top complete and ready for quilting.

13.  Top complete and ready for quilting.

14. Top complete and ready for quilting. A little lumpy because Lilith was on one and wouldn't move so I just laid this one on top of her.

15.  Needs border, then quilting and binding.  This is a little larger than the one above but with the same fabrics and pattern.  Still lumpy because she still wouldn't move.

16.  Top complete and ready for quilting.  This is for my son, Patrick.

17,  Top complete and ready for quilting.  (Hubby sitting on the floor playing guitar.)  DUPLICATE.  THIS IS QUILT #7.  COMPLETED.

18.  Top complete and ready for quilting.  It is for a friend who took these pictures off of her pier in Florida.

19.  Top complete and ready for quilting.

20.  Top complete and ready for quilting.  COMPLETED AND DELIVERED TO MY NIECE, DEBBIE.

21 and 22.  Harry Potter Project of Doom. Top complete and ready for quilting. The second Harry Potter PoD has also been completed to this degree but I think I will add borders to it with other blocks that haven't been made yet.

23.  My Favorite Things block of the month from Sewhooked.com.  First block - January 2016 - done.

24.  I Want to Believe quilt along with Fandom In Stitches at Fandominstitches.com starts tomorrow and will run 3 months.
